A Rolex World War II military open face pocket watch, circa 1940, polished nickel 5 cm case, the back engraved with Ministry of Defence of issue number A.11840 and G. S. MK. II. Black dial with conforming issue number, luminous Arabic numerals, outer gilt railtrack minutes, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, luminous blued steel epee hands.
