Two Japanese plates, Meiji period 19th century, two porcelain plates with scalloped edges, one decorated in the Imari palette of flower bouquets, landscapes with figures, fans, and flowers, the other one in Arita blue and white, with a stylized phoenix emerging from the foliage to the well and floral decorations to the outer rim; both with blue flower decorations to the inner rim. Diameter: 24 cm and 21 cm
