Connie Hart's Coiled Basket with Handle

Connie Hart coiled basket, Condah Lakes, Victoria, woven plant fibre (no custom stand) the basket is made from fibre using a coiled basketry technique. It has an oval shape with a flat base and straight sides that are slightly warped. A handle extends from the weave on one side of basket and arcs across the centre to the opposing side. Length 29 x 27 cm. Provenance: Connie Hart, Portland, Victoria. Private collection, South Australia
