A Chinese porcelain plaque-inset hardwood table screen attributed to Wang Yeting (1884-1942), the plaque decorated in yangcai enamels with a lakeside scene with houses and a figure in the foreground, mountains in the distance, and a poetic inscription to the top describing lakes and mountains. Dated October, winter 1920, signed 'Wang Ping', and artist name 'Yeting', the plaque approximately 38 cm high, 25 cm wide. The screen 71 cm high, 48 cm wide. Provenance: Oriental Treasures, Singapore, 2 December 1982. A Private Toorak Collection.
