Qantas AIRCRAFT1920 - 1971, c1971 colour process lithograph, 50 x 67 cm. Linen-backed. Includes illustrations and descriptions of the, Wright Brothers plane, on which the 'First, powered, controlled flight in history was made, in December, 1903', and a succession of, aeroplane types operated by Qantas: Avro, 504K, 1921; Dh.50A, 1924; short Empire, flying boat, 1938; Lockheed L1049 super, constellation, 1954; Boeing 707-338C, 1965, and the newly introduced Boeing 747-238B.
