The 12th light of foot rare ambrotype portrait with hand-coloured finish, circa 1860. The 12th light of foot gained notoriety for their brutal suppression of the Eureka rebellion in Ballarat on the 3rd December 1854. Housed in original plush bi-folding leather case with embossed finish. Image size 8 x 6 cm, 9.5 x 16 cm overall when open.
