An Edward VII officers dress sword, engraved to the broad fuller: 'Presented to Lieutenant W Kirkham. Dunedin Navals B battery, Otago Hussars, Dunedin engineers, 1st Pioneers, Cycle Corps; north Dunedin, Dunedin & Caversham Rifles', opposite dated '9th June 1909'. Decoratively etched blade, steel guard with monarchs' cipher, leather covered scabbard.
