An early 20th century New Zealand silver and enamel school badge by Alf Skeates, for St. Mary's, Stratford, with the Latin motto for May Thy Will Be Done, maker's name and STERLING to the reverse. Skeates was a jeweller in Victoria Arcade, cnr Queen and Shortland Streets in the early 1900s.
