A 19th century Anton Teutenberg 1889 'Printer's Picnic' silver five point ball tipped star medallion, the obverse cast in relief with central gold panel of a runner, the reverse with central shield panel engraved 'Printer's Picnic 1/2 Mile Handp. First Prize Won By A.L.Wilson 1889', diameter 34.5 cm. See S9 in 'Teutenberg A Master Engraver & His Work 2007 by Cresswell and Duncan. Note: The recipient was Arthur Liston Wilson (1870-1937) who's grandfather, William Chisholm Wilson (1810-1876) was the founder of the New Zealand Herald newspaper.
