Ludwigsburg porcelain dinner service, period of Duke Carl Eugen (1744-1793), c. 1770, hand painted in style of the 'Rothschild Birds' pattern with birds on branches, gilt line rims, comprising eighteen entre plates, thirty-three dinner plates, three tureens, four sauce boats, four serving bowls, fifteen oval serving plates, eight serving plates, four triangular dishes, one covered pot, one open salt, one mustar pot, one cream jug, one coffee pot four coffee cups and three saucers, blue crowned circular entwined C's mark and various other marks including Sevres factory style marks with painter's initials 'H M', a few pieces chipped, coffee pot restored (101)
