[Polly's first Geelong Best & Fairest, in a Premiership year. He also came equal second in the Brownlow Medal behind three-time winner Bobby Skilton. The award is named after Edward Goderich ('Carji') Greaves, a Geelong player who, in 1924, won the first Charles Brownlow Medal]
