A 20th century scrimshaw sperm whale tooth, engraved one side 'Chatham Is. 1882' and with chart, the other with a whale and 'California J.A.C.1882'. Length 15.5 cm. Together with the book 'Pursuing the Whale' by John A. Cook, 1926.
