A large Continental gilt metal quarter striking open faced pair cased watch, with day, date, hour subsidiary second hand. The unsigned chain fusse movement engraved plate with pierced and engraved balance cock. White enamel dial, the gilt and silvered inner case with pierced and engraved decoration. The associated outer gilt and silvered metal case decorated with dark blue enamel and a central classical scene of a maiden in a classical landscape with a border of seed pearls. circa 1800.
