A Javanese Volcanic stone Fragmentary Padmapani or Vishnu, circa 10th century, the fragmentary figure with four arms, two raised bearing attributes, wearing a Royal Crown and jewels. Together with an old wooden base. The stone carving 38 cm high, 31 cm wide. With base 58 cm high, 40 cm wide. Fragmentary (missing the entire lower half of the figure). Losses to the mandorla behind, losses to the hands and attributes, minor wear throughout.
