A Japanese Kyoyaki Inkstone by Miyanaga Tozan I (1868-1941), early Showa period, circa 1930S, the circular porcelain inkstone covered in a 'Kinuta' celadon glaze, the ink well and grinding surface unglazed. The base with an inscription and seal of Tozan. Together with tomobako (original inscribed wooden box). 2.5 cm high, 14 cm diameter. No visible faults or damage. Approximately 686 gm total weight including box
