Two Chinese blue and white jars and a small dish, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, the jars decorated with scrolling flowers and butterflies, the dish with a stylized phoenix and a two character mark to the base. The jars 19.5 cm high, 17 cm wide. The dish 16 cm diameter. No visible faults or damage. Approximately 2720 gm total weight for three items.

During the Ming Dynasty, China experienced a period of relative stability and prosperity. The government was centralized and bureaucratic, with the emperor at the top of the hierarchy. The Ming Dynasty is known for its cultural achievements, including the development of porcelain, the invention of movable type printing, and the construction of the Great Wall of China.
