A good large and fine carving of The Last Supper, the figures within an architectural setting, as traditionally portraying the reaction given by each of the 12 apostles when Jesus said one of them would betray him. After the painting by Leonardo da Vinci c.1495 to 1498, some delay in its creation was apparently due to Leonardo's struggling to find the perfect villainous face for Judas. 149 x 13.5 x 80 cm.
