[Historic Hotels in the Hawksbury River Region], February 1861 lease for the 'Cricketers Arms Hotel' (cnr of George & New Streets, Windsor) between George Freeman [Green Hills, 1806 - Windsor, 1867] and Sarah Blanchard [1826 - 1905], Sarah Blanchard was married to Walter Blanchard, one of 171 convicts transported on the ship Ocean, 22 April 1823. He had been transported for life after being found guilty of stealing some towels at the age of 16. also, April 1873 lease for the 'Sir John Young Hotel' (bounded by George Street and Macquarie Street, Windsor) between James Bligh Johnston [1849 - 1925] and Robert & Elizabeth Cane, and, July 1875 lease for 'The Post Office Hotel' (bounded by Windsor Street and West Market Street, Richmond) between John Roland Eather [1843 - 1923] and Edwin Young [1827 - 1896].
