A portrait of Hazrat Pir Dastgeer Ghaus-Al-Azam, Mughal, late 18th century gouache and gold on paper, identifying inscription in nasta'liq script to the top under the mount the painting 24.5 x 15 cm, the mount 28.5 x 19 cm note the portrait is probably of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani known by his popular name of Ghaus/Ghous-al-Azam, a 12th century Sufi, buried in present-day Iraq.
