Victoria 1936-37 Q Class (no 199) tramcar (135 x 40 x 50 mm) being an obsolescent single truck tramcar modified for one-man operation on all-night services or on daytime services with light passenger loads where speed and capacity would not be an issue, this particular example, the '199', being used on the Elsternwick to port Ormond shuttle. (the Q199 is the only surviving converted tram still surviving in something like its original form and is currently undergoing restoration to its original condition at the Tramway Museum of Victoria (TMSV).
