Essendon: Original photograph of the 1908 Essendon team, taken at the round 3 match v Carlton at Princes Park with 25,000 people in attendance. Photograph fine though mount with peripheral faults, overall 26 x 21 cm. Players identified on reverse. (These two teams would meet again in the Grand Final). Ex Jim Martin, who played for Carlton, Essendon & Fitzroy. The first person to play in consecutive premierships at two clubs - 1912 at Essendon & 1913 at Fitzroy.
