A Khmer sandstone head of a Bodhisattva, Angkor period, circa 11th century, well carved of sandstone, depicting the head of a Bodhisattva gently smiling with a serene expression, wearing an elaborately decorated crown. Fitted to a modern metallic base., with the stand 24 cm high, 12 cm wide. Provenance: Purchased arch angel Antiques, Hong Kong, 2000.
