Book, 'Mickey mouse Anuual, 1930. London, Dean & Son Ltd. Pictorial boards & spine, colour frontispiece & 3 colour plates as called for (see Hamer Comic Annual guide No.1). Owner's name on the first pastedown with the inscribed date 1930. Original, untouched condition with no repairs. Very slightly bumped and rubbed with separations from spine and boards. Minor crayon marks on the back of frontispiece. A little browning to some of the page edges & scattered fingermarks. Published in time for Christmas 1930, this is the 1st ever Disney book published for retail. A Mickey mouse book had come earlier in the year but it was printed as a promotional give-away (see Disneyville).
