Third Test, Adelaide January 1908: 'The Age' Newspaper banner for the edition of January 10th advertsing coverage of the 'Third Test Match - Australia's Team - A Serious Loss', mounted, framed & glazed, overall 87 x 61 cm (the poster: 66 x 48.5 cm). The 'serious loss' is a reference to Australia's opening batsmen falling early on the first day - Trumper out for 4 and Noble out for 15. Despite their poor start, Australia went on to win the match by 245 runs.
