A large Chinese famille rose eggshell bowl, P.R.O.C. Period, second half 20th century, the very large bowl of exceptionally thin eggshell porcelain, decorated in famille rose enamels with a continuous scene to the exterior of a battle scene with immortals in a landacape with mountains and pine trees, and red-crested cranes amidst clouds to the interior with a blue enamel painted formalised bat and shou character to the center. Unglazed mouth rim. Four character apocryphal 'Qianlong Nian Zhi' within a double square in blue enamel to the centre of the base.
