A good Reuben Watts silver and enamel Arts & Crafts spoon, the impressive stylised flower head terminal with turquoise enamel highlights and entwined silver wire, hand beaten bowl. Maker's full name mark to reverse and STERLING, length 13.3 cm. Note: A similar example held in Te Papa collection with the comment 'This enamelled silver spoon exemplifies Watts' commitment to the Arts & Crafts style, for which he became well-known in New Zealand from his arrival in 1900 until the 1930s.'
