18ct gold, emerald, ruby and diamond brooch, Cartier, Paris, mid 20th century modelled as a textured gold owl sitting on a branch, the eyes claw-set with a circular-cut ruby, to a brow framed with circular-cut diamonds, the chest embellished with a carved pear-shaped emerald, the branch accented with a ruby and diamond, gross weight approximately 17.99 grams, length approximately 40 mm, makers mark's, French assay marks, signed Cartier Paris, numbered 9851. Accompanied by a Cartier box.
