A Chinese vase with two ears, Qing Dynasty. The vase has a compressed body raised on a slightly waisted foot with moulded edge and is covered overall with a very finely mottled, matte glaze of olive-green colour that also covers the base around the brown glazed rim. The foot is covered with a dark brown wash. Marks refer to Qianlong period, height 25 cm, depth 18 cm

The Ming Dynasty is known for its cultural achievements, including the development of porcelain, the invention of movable type printing, and the construction of the Great Wall of China.
