A black coral and pearl set gold pendant & brooch. 15ct yellow gold, each piece presented in a similar style, with wishbone shaped pieces of natural black coral, small stems intact, overlaid to each with a spray style gold branch of gold with leaf detail, embellished by three cultured pearls to each, the pendant fitted with a split bail, the brooch with pin to reverse.

There are many species of coral, but only one group, Corallium, is suitable for carving, and thus can be used in jewellery manufacture.
