A pair of famille-rose 'mille-fleurs' cups Qing Dynasty, each of deep 'U' form, the sides slightly flaring to the rim supported on a small foot, the exterior and foot delicately painted with an overall profusion of colourful flowers, including clusters of chrysanthemum, sprigs of camellia, iris, lotus, hydrangea, daylily and aster, interspersed with foliage in different tones of green, all below the gilt rim, the interior and base left white and inscribed in iron-red with a six-character seal mark of Jiaqing, 8 cm diameter.
