A blue and white bottle vase, 19th/20th century, the globular body rising from a short foot to a tall waisted neck with everted mouth, moulded around the body with raised bands and painted in cobalt blue with a broad composite flower scroll between upright lotus lappets at the base and a ruyi border around the shoulders, the neck with stiff leaf and keyfret bands below a border of waves around the mouth, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character mark of Tongzhi, 39 cm high
