A c.1900 large and impressive Austrian silver and hippo tusk cigar cutter, the polished tusk with a large silver sculpted fox head cutter, green glass eyes, the hinged lower jaw with push-button release revealing the cutter operating through the fox's nose, ears raised, finely engraved, marks for Vienna and maker George Adam Scheid, length 27.5 cm. Note: items of this size and quality are rarely seen on this market.
