A Chinese blue and white Kosometsuke bowl early Kangxi period, the bowl of flared ogee form, decorated with four dragon roundels to the exterior, interspersed with sprays of flowers, the interior center with clouds within a double circle, the rim deorated with a stylised band of waves. Made under order from Japan, for the Japanese market. Together with an old inscribed Japanese wooden box, and an old cotton bowl interior protector, the bowl 9.8 cm high, 19.3 cm diameter.
