The Badge (ship's plaque) of the Battleship HMS Duke of York. The battleship HMS 'Duke of York' spent some time in Sydney shortly after the end of World War II. Crew members made numerous friends among Sydney Freemasons and as a new Masonic Lodge was being formed at the time. It was decided to name it after the Battleship.
