(4 items). Silver medal (50 mm, 65g) by H. Ponscarme; Obv: Bust of Napoleon III left. Rev: Exposition Universelle De Mdccclxvii A Paris Commission Imperiale / A. Lenormand / Temoignage de Satisfaction in original case of issue; and another awarded to 'Limet - Lapareille & Cie' and another, similar but in bronze. Accompanied by two additional Napoleon III silver medals by Caque, both in cases of issue, one to a member of the jury for the 1862 Agricultural Exhibition of Laval, the other Nimes 1863. (5 items).

    It is very fluid in a molten state, and its hardness, strength when set, and non-corrosive properties makes it most suitable for casting sculpture.
