1962 Commonwealth Games in Perth, Competitor's Badge, enamelled with 'British Empire & Commonwealth Games/ Perth, Western Australia, 1962', pale green ribbon with 'Competitor'. Australia headed the medal tally at the Perth Games with 38 gold, 36 silver & 31 bronze, ahead of England and New Zealand; winning 105 of the 320 medals on offer. There were 35 teams in competition and of them, 17 won medals. Murray Rose and Dawn Fraser each won 4 gold medals in individual or team races.
