Three original scoreboard numbers from the Sydney Cricket Ground, the double-sided rectangular enamelled signs painted with the numbers '1/2', '5/6' and '5/6'. 48.5 x 35 cm. Accompanied by a letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership. Provenance: Mr Martin Crowe MBE, New Zealand. Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney, acquired from the above in 2006. These scoreboard numbers are believed to have been purchased by Martin Crowe from a charity auction at the SCG. The significance of the numbers to Martin is likely to be that when appropriately arranged they display the number 299, which was Martin Crowe's highest score in Test cricket.' Russell Crowe
