A cased pair of duelling pistols, stamped F. House, 18th Century, the pistols engraved 'No. 1' and 'No. 2', each with a brass barrel, silver plate and steel fittings and horn mounted ebonised plunger, within a later fitted and velvet lined walnut case applied with foliate brass strap work, each pistol with an oval brass disc stamped 'F. House. pistols 38 cm long (each), case 11.5 cm high, 53 cm wide, 35 cm deep. Accompanied by a letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership. Provenance: Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney
