A Rene Lalique 'Nemours' bowl, designed 1929, the shallow ovoid body moulded with a radiating pattern of flower heads graduating in size, in frosted and clear glass with a green patina and black enamel highlights, moulded 'R. Lalique France, 25.5 cm diameter. Provenance: Leonard Joel, Melbourne, 18 April 1988, lot 315, illustrated, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above.
