A Rene Lalique Dahlias vase, designed 1923, the compressed body moulded with a design of overlapping Dahlias in flower, in frosted and clear glass with a sepia patina and black enamel highlights, inscribed R. Lalique France No. 938', 12.5 cm high. Provenance: Fine and Decorative Art, James R. Lawson, Sydney, 7 April 1987, lot 57, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above.
