Collection of World War I and World War II Allied forces badges, buttons and patches, collected by Fred McDonald (6th Batt. A.I.F.) who was an original Gallipoli lander on the 25th of April 1915, he was wounded and shipped to Malta and then on to England. McDonald survived the war and then re-enlisted during World War II and served in New Guinea. Provenance: Direct family descent
