A large vintage Len Castle blossom vase, swollen rectangular form, pale grey all-over glaze, tenmoko to the flat rectangular rim and showing at the corners, impressed potter's mark. 38 cm x 26 cm x 42.5 cm. Provenance: From the Estate Collection of Keith Blight and noted to the base 'This pot was featured at the entrance of the Auckland Studio Potter's Exhibition 1976. Len sold it to me for under $100.... I was the Exhibition Designer. Keith Blight 2007'
