Hylton Nel (South African, b. 1941), glazed ceramic bowl, c. 1970, the reeded bowl decorated with a sun face and geometric motifs in tones of cream, light brown and blue against a brown ground, unglazed outer, impressed 'Nowers' mark to side, height 7.5 cm diameter 15 cm.
