A lettersheet (folded to provide 4 sides) headed 'Map of Melbourne & Collingwood' with a detailed representation of the street grid, gardens and some significant buildings, with numbered references below the map. [Published by Blundell, engraved and prined by J.S.Campbell & Co.]. circa 1854. The mss letter (incomplete) from 'Edward' to his wife in England, concerns his lack of success in selling his stock of firearms in Victoria and the likey need for him to go to California to achieve a better outcome. He makes some interesting observations about life and commercial activity in the Colony. (A ttyped transcription accompanies the lot.]
