Castle Harris Australian pottery stump vase with applied kookaburra chasing a lizard, circa 1930, signed Castle Harris on the back, 27 cm high. Provenance: Private Collection Canberra, formerly Hooper's Antiques, illustrated on the cover of 'Australian Country Furniture' by T & J Hooper [Viking O'Neil Penguin Press, 1988], also illustrated on page 87 of 'The Laughing Australian' by T & J Hooper [Nelson Press 1981]. Accompanied by 1991 valuation letter from Hooper Antiques.
