A Chinese carved chalcedony figure of a woman holding fruits, the translucent bluish grey and brown tone carved to good effect with the variegated brown tones incorporated into her head scarf and leaves supporting the fruit, fine detail. Height 18 cm, raised on a hardwood stand with silver wire inlay. Together with a GIA gem identification report dated 20 January 1981 stating it to be made of chalcedony.
