A Khmer polished sandstone torso of Uma, Barphuon period, 11th century, the well-proportioned female deity wearing a long sampot, the finely patinated stone with a high polish, 50 cm high. Reference: see Christies Paris, 10/10/2014, Lot 358 for a quite similar but larger torso of Uma, also Bowie et. Al., the Sculpture of Thailand, Visual Arts Board, pl.60, p.31 for a similar example.
