A carved wood 'scholars' mountain Qing Dynasty, (2), naturalistically carved in the round as a mountainous landscape, one side with two scholars seated playing chess and two others standing nearby on a rocky promontary, with flights of steps leading to thatched huts beside pine and wutong trees, the reverse with waves around the rocky shore, wood stand, (2), 16 cm long, 13.5 cm high.
