1927 Royal Visit for the Opening of Parliament House, black leather wallet imprinted '[Coat of Arms]/ Establishment / of / The Seat of Government / At / Canberra / By / His Royal Highness / the Duke of York / May 1927' in gold, with blue leather fold-out 1st Class return train ticket #11, inscribed 'Royal Visit / Canberra Ceremony / May, 1927' filled out to 'Mrs S.M. Bruce' for sleeping berth travel from Melbourne to Canberra, also admission tickets for ceremony 'Stand A in front of Parliament House', 'Senate Chamber seat #19', 'State Luncheon seat #15, table Special ' and ' Reception to Overseas Representatives', very good condtion. (6 items), [Stanley Bruce was the eighth Prime Minister of Australia, the above ticket issued for his wife Ethel Bruce, (nee Anderson). Ethel's brothers-in-law, Ewen, David and Newton, were all decorated Australians serving in the Boer War and World War I (including Gallipoli).
