A gold 1946 Hauraki cup on ebonised stand, the shallow tapering bowl inscribed 'Hauraki cup / Presented by / Mrs A.D.Hall / 1946 / Won by / Mr A. Rowans 'La Fillette'', flanked by two angular handles, stamped 9ct twice to foot, previous Leonard Joel lot sticker also resides to base, seated on a stepped ebonized pedestal stand, approximately 134 gms, 12.5 cm high. Provenance: Mr. A. Rowans was the vendors great grandfather, Mr. Rowan's daughter was a horse trainer and the trophy was bequeathed to her and hence by decent to the current owner
